So yesterday after group… and after just 5 hours’ sleep 😴 I’d planned a nice restful afternoon…but instead, we took ourselves off to ! ⛳️🏌️‍♀️

It was raining when we arrived, but it soon cleared up and the blue sky and sunshine reappeared. It's funny how we've been so accustomed to it being here for so long and how much I had missed it since it has started to cool down 🌞

Anyways ... at first we were disappointed with our bay location.. 2nd from the end but I soon got into the swing of it… quite literally 😂… and actually played better than I ever have before!

The fresh air had given me the burst of energy I needed despite my lack of sleep and, in the first game, I was IN THE LEAD (yes ME!) for a while and actually dreamed of my first ever win 💪🏻🏆🥳but the nerves got to me and Mr M staged a comeback and smash it at the end! 🙄😂

Second game… same story! I was leading again for a while and only missed 4 shots in the whole game 🎯

But ultimately, none of us stood a chance against the demon driver again! 😂🏌️‍♂️ I mean .. look at his scores .. Really?!

Great times spending quality time making memories together as a family ❤️

Especially knowing that in just 2 weeks, my daughter will be heading off to Uni to start an exciting new chapter and make lots more memories of her own. 🥹❤️

🩷⚡ GREASE IS THE WORD! ⚡🩷

So last night we had a most fabulous night at the immersive Grease movie experience in Battersea Park.

Pink Ladies, T-Birds, fairground rides, dancing and me singing every single word like I’ve actually been cast in the film 🤣

And double whammy .. I was able to Food Optimise too which meant that one Summer Night didn't turn into a whole Hopelessly Devoted to SWIPs weekend! 🤣🙈

This is real life and losing or maintaining weight doesn’t mean missing out on the things you love doing. ❤️

So, if you can get tickets to this event before it closes on 13th September you must!

Not the most aesthetically pleasing lunch after group today ... it was supposed to be an omelette! Turned out more like loaded scrambled eggs! 🤣

But quick, tasty, full of protein and more importantly .. on plan!
