ONE PLACE REMAINING. BOOK NOW TO AVOID MISSING OUT IN THIS FABULOUS DAY!

✨ A day of willow weaving, good food & Dartmoor magic ✨

Join us here at Nourish & Moor on Saturday 10th October for a very special day of creativity, connection and beautiful basketry.

You’ll spend the day with the wonderful Tess Wakeling, learning to weave your very own Catalan gathering basket — a beautiful, practical piece to treasure and use for years to come.

Tess is an exceptionally skilled basket maker, artist and tutor with over a decade of experience working with willow. With a Fine Art Sculpture degree and City & Guilds training, her work spans contemporary willow lighting, woven bags, sculpture and installation. Her work has been featured in Country Living, and alongside her studio practice she teaches basketry to adults and young people, sharing her knowledge of this ancient and wonderfully grounding craft.

🌿 What to expect:

A warm welcome with drinks and homemade cakes
Expert, step-by-step tuition from Tess — suitable for beginners
Beautiful natural willow and the chance to learn traditional basketry techniques
A generous, delicious and vibrant homemade lunch
Time to slow down, chat, create and enjoy the surroundings
A stunning Dartmoor retreat setting, surrounded by nature and the peaceful beauty of Nourish & Moor
And, of course, your very own handmade Catalan gathering basket to take home
It’s the kind of day where you can put your phone away, work with your hands, learn something beautiful and simply enjoy being somewhere special.
