WE ARE ENTERING PERFECT TATTOO SEASON!

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Summer - lighter nights, sun shining, it's beautiful... but do you know what's NOT beautiful? Trying to heal a fresh tattoo in 35°C heat.

So many things you have to avoid during Summer with your fresh new piece.

*Keep it out of the sun - OK, but it's too hot to wear trousers.
*Don't do anything physically exhausting to prevent excess sweating- OK, I'm sweating by simply existing right now.
*Don't go swimming - IT'S THE ONLY THING KEEPING ME COOL.
*Don't put suncream on it until it's healed - But, I'm gunna crisp and die!

I've had a few messages where clients have messaged me as their freshly healed tattoo has become victim to prickly heat or their second skin hasn't stayed on, because of the heat/sweat.

Thing is, I panic with you!! Even though I know what is biologically happening because of the heat... I still bloody care.

Autumn and Winter are the perfect months to get that bad boy tattoo. You can keep it covered, protected and let it heal, ready for the next Summer 🖤
