The Henna Goddess, York Henna is a beautiful way to express yourself by staining the skin with beautiful designs. The henna paste I use is totally natural, and home made.

I created 'The Henna Goddess, York' from a love of henna in my spare time. I want to share the beauty that is henna and the infinite designs you can choose from. Regular tattoos are addictive - so is henna! You can have a different design each time, and it's not permanent! Henna is a paste that you apply to the skin in intricate patterns, the paste then stains the skin and as it comes away, leaves

a beautiful colour. The stain tone can vary from person to person. The stain can last anything from 4 days to 4 weeks. Hands and feet stain the best, but you can have henna anywhere on the body. You can henna any skin, any age, any where. I mix the henna paste myself over 48 hours with only the best, natural ingredients and oils. My henna paste is suitable for children and pregnant women although if you have allergies it's best to check with me before having a henna design. Henna is becoming more popular as people want to express themselves and have fun without spending a fortune or having a permanent tattoo for example. Henna is ideal for birthday / engagement parties, 16/18/21st birthdays, baby showers, hen parties, bbq's, pre-festivals, street parties, or just because you fancy something a bit different....

People sometimes aren't sure about things which they haven't seen before - but once people see first hand what henna is all about, everyone loves joining in!

Well well!! It seems we're back in the land of semi normality and so Henna Nation is BACK! We've had one session already to ease us back into things and now we're off, we can open this baby up and enjoy the gift that is henna, together 💞 We have a November date ready which I'll post very soon for tickets, and a few pictures from this month's event too. I've just seen this on IG.... FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT'S HOLEY, DON'T PUT CHEMICAL HENNA ON YOUR FACE!!!!!! Especially near your eyes!!! The chemical burn you can get is permanent and will affect your sensitivity level to products and foods in the future. It's SO dangerous! Please use a makeup pencil or powder that is designed for use on skin!

***Any henna in mass produced foil packets is full of high level PPD and other chemicals not intended for use on skin!!!***

Absolutely not! Just have fun!

An advised age of 8+ purely because this is a staining product. There's no maximum age limit!
