It's alcohol awareness week - do you feel confident that your drinking is under control? No? - have others told you that you should think about how much you're drinking?

There is so much support available in the city - reach out and speak with people who understand.

If you're recovery curious get in touch with us or pop in to the York Community Recovery Hub at 3 Wellington Row in York (opposite the 'new' Aviva building next to the River under Lendal Bridge).

You do not have to walk your recovery path alone.

As part of our celebrations for Volunteers' Week (which was at the beginning of June) today we went out to try our hand at an escape room followed by Pizza.

A great time was had by all and, as you can see, being from Yorkshire we insisted on using up all but about 48 seconds of our allotted time. To do otherwise would have been a waste 😁

Time is the most precious thing we have - we are truly grateful to these lovely people for the time they give to us here at CGL in York.

So very grateful today for the group of enthusiastic and happy volunteers who brightened our day at Blossom Street. All from Aviva in York organised by York Cares

A great day spent doing some fantastic work on the garden getting it back ship shape after the winter. We can't overstate just how grateful we are.
