ცნობარი შექმნილია მყიფე X სინდრომის მქონე ადამიანებისთვის, მათი ოჯახების წევრებისთვის, ახლობელი ადამიანებისთვის, ექიმებისთვის და ყველა იმ პირისთვის, ვინც დაინტერესებულია მყიფე X სინდრომით.

📣 Wonderful news:
A comprehensive global resource on the treatment of Fragile X syndrome is now available in Georgian.

The “A Medication Guide for Fragile X Syndrome,” by Michael R. Tranfaglia, Medical Director of the FRAXA Research Foundation has been translated into Georgian.

Many thanks to Mr. Georgi Mikeladze and his family for this generous gift and their dedication.

This guide is intended for individuals with Fragile X syndrome, their families and loved ones, healthcare professionals, and anyone interested in learning more about Fragile X syndrome.

Today is International Women’s Day.
We stand together to affirm that no real progress is possible without women and girls with disabilities.

Women and girls with disabilities show extraordinary strength every day, navigating a world that too often places double barriers in their path—because they are women, and because they live with disabilities. They face discrimination, limited access to education and employment, heightened risks of violence, and exclusion from spaces where decisions about their lives are made. Yet they continue to lead, advocate, and challenge systems that were not built with them in mind.

Justice, equality, and inclusion cannot exist if women and girls with disabilities remain at the margins. Policies, initiatives, and movements are only truly transformative when they center their perspectives and recognize their power.

Today, and every day, we celebrate the resilience of women and girls with disabilities and commit to a world where they can thrive, lead, and be valued in all their strength and potential.

პროფესორო რენდი ჰაგერმანი განვითარებისა და ქცევითი პედიატრი და მყიფე X სინდრომსთან დაკავშირებული მდგომარეობების მსოფლიო ექსპერტი ქცევითი ფენოტიპების საზოგადოების წინაშე წარსდგა ამსტერდამში მოხსენებით მეტფორმინისა და მყიფე X სინდრომის შესახებ.

Congrats to the MIND Institute's Randi Hagerman, who recently presented on metformin and fragile X syndrome at the Society for the Study of Behavioral Phenotypes in Amsterdam.

Hagerman is a developmental-behavioral pediatrician, distinguished professor and world-renowned expert in fragile X-associated conditions.
