Health is everyone’s business.

Government cannot carry the full burden of financing the health sector alone. When people are healthy, they are more productive and the whole economy benefits. That is why private companies, foundations and NGOs all have a role to play in supporting health financing in Ghana.

It’s not just about more money. It’s about better use of it.

Health systems need more resources but they also need to use what they already have efficiently. Development partners can help by providing short-term bridge funding to fill urgent gaps in medical supplies and prevent setbacks in health progress. This support must be temporary with a clear plan for Ghana to take full financial responsibility over time.
