Why more Women are doing paternity DNA test than men?
Who will have thought that Paternity test is needed by women as much as men?
Though maternity test is an exclusive need for women to determine whether a child is their biological offspring? It will surprises you to know that the request for paternity test from women is almost the same rate as men.
These are some of the several reasons:
1. Prenatal DNA Test - Prenatal DNA test is the test done before the child is born. This is during pregnancy which can be as early as few weeks or months. Most women who need this test have more than one intimate partners, therefore during pregnancy they want to be sure which man is responsible. The traditional way of guessing based on date of sexual in*******se or monthly cycles are most often misleading. Hence, the high rate of making the wrong choice. This is where Prenatal DNA test comes in to ensure 99.99% accuracy in the decision making.
2. Peace-of-mind - If you think it’s only men who need peace-of-mind DNA test then you are wrong. Women are being proactive this days for their own certainty and peace-of-mind ahead of the men. DNA test like AI, has come to stay and it’s going no where. It’s becoming increasingly popular by the day and so the only way for the women to stay ahead of the league is to actually conduct the paternity test ahead of the men even without the knowledge of the men to be sure of the pending trouble or happiness soon to come. Knowing well that many men will go for the test secretly, it is best to prepare and be a step ahead.
3. Legal preparation - Women are conducting secrete paternity DNA test on a regular basis due to the higher rate of irresponsible men. When a man denies responsibility of a pregnancy leading to social embarrassment and economic challenges, the only option left for the woman is to take the man to The Domestic Violence and Victims Support Unit (DOVVSU) or court for child support. To avoid further embarrassment, the women needs an irrefutable evidence before proceeding. The only solution is a secrete paternity test. I call it secrete before the man in the first place will not consent to do the test and so the women has no option but to do it without the man’s consent. One will ask…how possible is such test if the man doesn’t submit his sample? Well, we have what we call non-standard samples (hair, toothbrush, nails, ci******es butts, chewing gum, blood stain, and the list goes on). Our women are smart enough to get one of theses things at least from an “ex”.
4. Health reasons: Not all men are reasonable or thinkers when in love. A wise women who wish to know the sickle cell status or any disease predisposition for their future kids will like to conduct a disease predisposition DNA test whether secretly or with the consent of their future to be husbands or partner to be sure their coming together will not end up with chronic diseases stricken children.
