Yin Resonance® Yoga Teacher Training returns in 2027, with two opportunities to explore the meeting of Yin Yoga and Sound.

Through Nada Yoga, humming and toning, Mantra, the Six Healing Sounds, and sound healing instruments, this training invites you to slow down, explore stillness, and deepen your understanding of the relationship between sound, vibration, and the body.

Across our teacher trainings, the different layers of yoga are taught in conversation with one another.

Anatomy shapes the way we understand movement and sequencing. Pranayama deepens our relationship with breath and presence. Philosophy gives context to the practice, while teaching methodology brings these elements together into classes that are thoughtful, embodied and purposeful.

Whether through a foundational 200hr, the deeper exploration of Yin Resonance®, or our advanced trainings, the intention remains the same: to support teachers in developing both the knowledge and the confidence to teach from a place of understanding.

Hands-on assists are one of the more nuanced skills we teach in our Yoga Teacher Trainings.
At Shri Gaia, touch is taught through anatomy, biomechanics, observation, communication and consent. A thoughtful assist begins with seeing the person in front of you and understanding what kind of support could bring greater clarity to their movement.
The hands become an extension of the teacher’s awareness.
This is how we approach teaching methodology: with knowledge, sensitivity and respect for each student’s individual body and experience.

Our Aerial Yoga Teacher Training returns to Athens this November!

Join us Serenity Hub for two immersive weekends dedicated to exploring the practice and teaching of Aerial Yoga; Working with suspension, gravity and movement to bring a new dimension to your practice and your teaching.

This November, Shri Gaia Institute brings its 200hr Hatha Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training to Kenya for the first time. 🌿

For two weeks, we’ll be based on Lamu Island, with daily practice and study at Banana House in Shela Village.

From asana, pranayama and meditation to philosophy, anatomy and teaching methodology, the training is designed to deepen your personal practice while building the knowledge and skills to teach.

Outside the training hours, there is time to experience Lamu, its living Swahili culture, historic old town, beaches, dhow boats and the Indian Ocean.

200HR Yoga Teacher Training · Sri Lanka 2027 🌴

Out 200hour YTT is designed to build a strong foundation in both the practice and teaching of yoga.

Over the course of the training, we move progressively through asana, functional anatomy and biomechanics, alignment, sequencing, pranayama, meditation, yoga philosophy and teaching methodology; connecting each element together.

You’ll learn how to understand the body, structure and sequence a class, communicate clearly as a teacher, adapt the practice to different students, and develop the skills and confidence to begin teaching.
