Αυτό το σαπούνι προέρχεται από το αναρριχητικό στρώμα του αγροκτήματος μας, το οποίο μεγιστοποιεί την τροφή και τον οικότοπο καλύπτοντας τις περιοχές της τρίτης διάστασης. Τα συγκεκριμένα φυτά ελεύθερα στη φύση αγκαλιάζουν το έδαφος και τους κορμούς των δέντρων λειτουργώντας σαν προστατευτικό στρώμα ενός οικοσυστήματος.

Κάπως έτσι αυτό το blend προστατεύει κι εμάς τους ανθρώπους. Ο χυμός από το σταφύλι και το ακτινίδιο ενυδατώνουν το δέρμα μας ενώ τα τριμμένα κουκούτσια τους σε συνδυασμό με την κίτρινη άργιλο αποτοξινώνουν προσφέροντας ήπια απολέπιση.

This soap blend is made from the vine layer of our food forest, which is a space-filler that maximises food and habitat in the unused regions of the all-important third dimension. These plants free in nature embrace the soil and tree trunks acting as a protective layer of an ecosystem.

In the same way this blend also protects us. The juice from the grapes and kiwis hydrate our skin while the grated seeds combined with yellow clay detoxify while offering gentle exfoliation.

Η ραχοκοκαλιά ενός οικοσυστήματος είναι τα δασικά δέντρα προσφέρουν σκιά και στέγη σε πολλά ζώα.
Έτσι και σε εμάς τους ανθρώπους αυτό το σαπούνι μας φέρνει πιο κοντά σε δασικές μυρωδιές και παράλληλα προστατεύει το δέρμα μας.

Όταν θα περπατήσεις σε ένα δάσος και πάρεις μια χούφτα χώμα και το μυρίσεις θα σου θυμίσει αυτό το σαπούνι, αυτό προσπαθήσαμε να βγάλουμε σε αυτό το blend.

Σε συνεργασία με τη MANTILITY, μεταφράσαμε τον θρυλικό Δρόμο του Μεταξιού σε αυτό το χειροποίητο, μεταξένιο σαπούνι ελαιολάδου.

«Τζίντζερ» για την Κίνα, «Σαφράν» για την Περσία, «Μάνγκο» για την Ινδία και «Καπνό» για την Ευρώπη.

Κάθε συστατικό επιλέχθηκε όχι μόνο για το άρωμά του, αλλά και για όσα αντιπροσωπεύει: κίνηση, ανταλλαγή και πολιτισμικό διάλογο ανάμεσα στους λαούς - όπως ακριβώς και η Κρήτη, το ελαιόλαδο και η Helleo συνάντησαν τη Μακεδονία, τον καπνό και τη Mantility — που εδρεύει στην Καβάλα, την ιστορική «Μέκκα του Καπνού».

Ευχαριστούμε τη Βασιλική και την υπόλοιπη ομάδα για την εμπιστοσύνη και τη συνεργασία. Το απολαύσαμε ιδιαίτερα!

In collaboration with MANTILITY, we transformed the legendary Silk Road into this handmade, silk-textured olive oil soap.
“Ginger” for China, “Saffron” for Persia, “Mango” for India, and “Tobacco” for Europe.
Each ingredient was chosen not only for its fragrance, but for what it represents: movement, exchange, and cultural dialogue across peoples.

Just as Crete, olive oil, and Helleo met Macedonia, to***co, and Mantility — based in Kavala, once known as the historic “Mecca of Tobacco” — this creation became a meeting point of places, stories, and senses.

Our heartfelt thanks to Vasiliki and the entire team for the trust and collaboration. We truly loved bringing this project to life!

We didn’t start Helleo to fit in.
We started it because we don’t.

This is what our soap looks like inside.
Uneven. Textured. Real.

Those tiny air pockets.
The glycerin-rich areas.
The natural grain that comes from cold process, not machines.

It’s not pressed into shape, not milled into uniformity, not broken down into soap noodles and rebuilt again.
Nothing is mechanically homogenized.
Nothing is filled, extruded, or polished to look perfect.

When you break it, it doesn’t look dense or plastic.
It looks honest.

Just like us.

We believe character matters more than symmetry.
Process matters more than shortcuts.
And honesty matters more than perfection.

As the year ends, we’re not wishing for “better.”
We’re committing to staying real—inside and out.
