✨ Exciting news from the Holon yoga ! ✨

After nine months of study, practice, teaching, and transformation, our first group of five students has successfully completed their 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training, led by Holon Yoga in collaboration with the Paramanand Institute of Yoga Sciences and Research (India) under the guidance of Omanand Guruji

Watching their journey unfold has been an incredible experience. From dedicated students to emerging teachers, they have all demonstrated commitment, growth, and a genuine passion for sharing yoga.

But this is only the beginning! 🌱

Over the next two months, they will enter a mentorship programme at Holon Yoga and begin teaching regular classes. You will start seeing some new faces leading classes, gaining valuable experience while continuing to grow under guidance and supervision.

This is a special moment for our community and an important step in building a strong team of teachers for the future.

And there is more… 📚

The next Yoga Teacher Training starts in January 2027! This new edition will follow a hybrid format, combining online learning with in-person training in beautiful Crete, making the programme more accessible while maintaining its depth and quality.

How to keep calm in chaos? Stress is part of life… but how we respond to it can change everything. 🤍

In yoga asana, we intentionally place the body in challenging, sometimes uncomfortable situations.

We often think that “more breathing = more oxygen = better health,” but the body doesn’t work quite like that.

In reality, it’s not about breathing MORE… it’s about breathing BETTER.

When we breathe too fast or too heavily, we tend to blow off too much carbon dioxide (CO₂). And CO₂ isn’t just waste—it plays an important role in helping oxygen actually get released to your cells where it’s needed.

Slower, calmer breathing helps:
• Support better oxygen delivery in the body
• Calm the nervous system and reduce stress response
• Improve focus and emotional balance
• Bring the body back into a more efficient rhythm

Try this simple shift:
Inhale gently… exhale slowly… and allow your breath to soften.

Sometimes, the most powerful thing you can do is not breathe more—but breathe less, slower, and with awareness.

How should you feel after a yoga class? 🧘‍♀️

Many people think a good class should leave them completely drained… but that’s not the goal.

A balanced yoga practice should leave you feeling:
✨ Energized
✨ Calm and centered
✨ More aware of your body

If you finish class feeling wiped out, dizzy, or overly sore, it may be a sign you’re pushing too hard or skipping important alignment cues.

Yoga is about working with your body, not against it. Listen to your breath, respect your limits, and enjoy the flow.
