The World Physiotherapy North America Caribbean region (NACR) convened its 2026 general meeting on Friday, 24 April, at the historic Cara Lodge Hotel in Georgetown, Guyana, bringing together executive committee members, staff, and delegates from across the region.

Event Highlights:
*General Meeting: Held on Friday, April 24, 2026, the meeting featured organizational reports, a 2025 financial overview, and small-group sessions focused on continuing professional development and mentorship.

*Educational Course: On Saturday, April 25, 2026, the region hosted a special in-person educational course focused on "Advanced Spinal Musculoskeletal Management" with a specific focus on lumbar spine dysfunction.

*Regional Collaboration: Discussions during the meeting emphasized developing physiotherapy services in Guyana, enhancing regional workforce capacity, and aligning practices with global standards.

Members who attended the courses can access their Continuing Professional Development (CPD) rewards and find more regional updates directly via the World Physiotherapy NAC Region Portal.
