π©Ί Know Your Numbers: Investing in Your Health Matters! π©Ί
Many people wait until they feel unwell before checking important nutrient levels and health markers. However, certain deficiencies and imbalances can contribute to symptoms such as fatigue, dizziness, anemia, hair loss, burning tongue, poor immunity, brain fog, and general feelings of being unwell.
I recently enquired about the cost of some commonly recommended tests that help assess iron status, vitamin levels, and nutritional health. Here are the current prices I received:
πΉ Serum Iron β $15,000
Measures the amount of iron circulating in your blood.
πΉ TIBC (Total Iron Binding Capacity) β $10,000
Helps determine how well your body transports iron.
πΉ Transferrin Saturation β $25,000
Indicates how much of your iron transport protein is carrying iron.
πΉ Ferritin β $25,000
Evaluates your bodyβs iron stores and is one of the most important tests for detecting iron deficiency.
πΉ Folate (Vitamin B9) β $25,000
Important for red blood cell production, energy, and overall health.
πΉ Vitamin B12 β $25,000
Essential for nerve health, red blood cell formation, energy production, and cognitive function.
πΉ Vitamin D3 (25-OH Vitamin D) β $50,000
Plays a vital role in immune function, bone health, mood regulation, and overall wellness.
Please note that these are the prices I have obtained so far. I am still gathering information on the costs of other recommended tests and will update you as I receive them.
β¨ Remember: Prevention is always better than cure. Understanding your nutritional status and addressing deficiencies early can help support your overall health and wellbeing.
Your health is an investment, not an expense. π
