On this International Women’s Day, I would like to recognize and celebrate the remarkable women who are the backbone of the NBTS and the broader healthcare community.
Every day, I have the privilege of working alongside women who demonstrate exceptional dedication, compassion, and professionalism. From the Blood Donor Attendants to the Medical Laboratory Techs and to Donor Donor Recruiters, Administrative Leaders, and Volunteers, your work ensures that safe blood is available to save lives when it matters most.
Your commitment goes far beyond the workplace. You inspire generosity in our donors, comfort patients and families during difficult moments, and strengthen our healthcare system through your expertise and resilience.
Today, we celebrate your achievements, your leadership, and your unwavering service. Thank you for the countless ways you contribute to our mission of saving lives through blood donation.
Let us continue to support, uplift, and empower the women in our teams and communities—not only today, but every day.
Happy International Women’s Day.
