Your skincare routine is only half the story. 🧠

The other half? It’s happening beneath the surface.

Inflammation, gut health, and nutrient deficiencies can all show up on your face, no matter how many serums you use. That’s why supporting your body from the inside is just as important as what you put on your skin.

This isn’t about restrictive diets or "magic foods." It’s about giving your body the building blocks it needs to function at its best.

What strikes me most about KIS isn’t just the innovation—it’s the intention behind it. That intention is rooted in a powerful vision:
👉 "Supporting our students in becoming independent learners and empowering them to be the best version of themselves."

This vision is brought to life most powerfully in the Springboard Project. It's not a program—it's a launchpad. A space where students aren't just taught, but trusted. Where curiosity is cultivated, and ownership of learning is genuinely nurtured. It was equally powerful to see that parents aren't just informed—they're partnered with. Receiving the latest insights on their children's health and well-being, ensures a cohesive support system for the young learners.

Ms. Pamm Kwok—Vice Principal, KIS and early Head of Primary at Springboard KIS - Thank you and Respect 🙏🏻

Her foresight? She quietly ensured children were happily engaged so that parents could be fully present during the informational afternoon.
In that single act of care, she wasn't just managing logistics—she was honoring parents' time, protecting children's joy, and modelling the very heart of the Springboard vision she has so tirelessly supported for 18 years. That's not just administration. That's leadership with soul. Truly inspiring

Thank you, KIS-the school team and the parents, for the trust, the warmth, and the reminder that education isn't just about outcomes—it's about who we become along the way.

"You're fine" doesn't mean you're pain-free.

Certain diets can actually reduce the intensity and consistency of your period cramps.

Nothing complicated. Just small shifts before your period starts.

You don't have to suffer just because nothing is "wrong."
Your pain is real. And you can do something about it.

The Bombay International School (BIS) is proof that a "small school with a big heart" can have a voice heard and respected far and wide in the world of education. A place where the pursuit of excellence meets the joy of learning.

On May 21st, I had the wonderful opportunity to speak at BIS to an engaged group of parents and educators about the role of Nutrition and Nutritional Medicine in fueling cognitive development, physical health, emotional regulation and academic success

To the parents: your amazing work and deep involvement in your children's lives and school community is impressive . It makes all the difference.

To the Educators: you are so incredibly up to date at a global level on truly nurturing children's education and overall growth to their highest potential. It was an honor to speak to such a knowledgeable and caring room. Your commitment to staying informed and proactive is truly commendable.

A special thank you to Mr. Arjun Rao, Mr. Imran Ismailjee, Ms. Neha Desai, and all the wonderful educators and parents of the school. And a heartfelt thank you to Ms Akshata Karkaria and Mr. Imran for organizing this event so seamlessly.

Grateful for the meaningful conversations and the shared commitment to nurturing healthier, sharper, and more resilient young minds.

Mother’s Day isn’t just a day—it’s the quiet strength that flows through every stage of her journey. From the young mother chasing dreams with a baby on her hip, to the wise woman whose grace deepens with every silver hair. 🤍

True empowerment means honoring her every day—not just with flowers, but with action. Let’s care for our mothers the way they cared for us: by safeguarding their health, nourishing their bodies, and helping them live vibrant, healthy lives at every age.

Good health and proper nutrition aren’t luxuries—they’re some of the most powerful love letters we can give to the women who gave us everything. 🕊️💪

This Mother’s Day, let’s commit to lifting them up—not just today, but every single day.

Preparing for a short presentation on women's health I found myself pondering which age group I should talk about in the limited time: 'What's the most important age for a woman to start looking after her health?'

As someone who works in healthcare and women's wellness, I've seen firsthand how we silo women's health into chapters — adolescence, fertility, menopause, aging.

This video captures what I believe is the most honest answer to that question: 'What's the most important age for a woman to start looking after her health?'

To the wonderful parents and teachers of Nord Anglia International School Dubai – this one is for you.

We all want the same thing: to see our children thrive—academically, emotionally, and physically. But in today’s fast-paced world, knowing how to support their growth can feel overwhelming sometimes.

That’s why I’m so excited to share that I’ll be coming together with my esteemed colleague Dr. Kristie Craigen for a very special online session – made possible thanks to the incredible educators at NAS Dubai especially Tara Lambert, Helen Hamilton, and the dynamic and thoughful Stephen Sharma of Nord Anglia International School Hong Kong

A huge thank you to the teachers and leadership team who made this happen. Your dedication to going beyond the classroom and supporting parents with real, evidence-based tools is truly inspiring. 🙏

In this session, we’ll bridge two complementary fields:
🔹 Dr. Kristie Craigen – psychological assessment (how children learn, process emotions, and overcome challenges)
🔹 Myself – nutritional medicine (how food impacts focus, mood, and brain development)

You will walk away with actionable strategies to:
✅ Understand your child’s unique learning profile
✅ Support emotional regulation at home
✅ Use nutrition to boost focus and academic performance
✅ Create an environment where your child can truly thrive

📅 Online session – 7th May at 6.30pm UAE time for the NAS Dubai Community only . Scan the QR code for details and to join.

Parents of NAS Dubai – let’s come together, learn together, and help our children flourish.
