A Milestone for Vascular Malformation Treatment in Hong Kong!

On 4 August 2026, Queen Mary Hospital's multidisciplinary team (MDT) of Plastic Surgeons, Interventional Radiologists, and Paediatric Surgeons shared successful treatment outcomes for vascular malformations using the IGEA Cliniporator® at a press conference.

🔹 Asia's first paediatric vascular malformation case treated with this technology
🔹 Demonstrated the benefits of reversible electroporation compared with traditional treatment approaches
🔹 Highlighted the critical role of multidisciplinary collaboration in achieving positive patient outcomes
🔹 Featured an inspiring patient testimony, showcasing significant improvements in symptoms, quality of life, and self-confidence after more than 20 years of living with the condition
🔹 Future plans include extending the technology's application to electrochemotherapy for cancer treatment
