除臨床服務外，診所亦為康復治療學生提供專業訓練的平台，促進學以致用與臨床經驗的培育。
同時，診所亦作為學系之科研成果實踐平台，將最新的科研結果用於臨床上, 持續提升專業服務質素及回饋社會。
The Tam Wing Fan Rehabilitation Service Centre (Occupational Therapy) is one of the service units of the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, being Hong Kong's first ever university-based Occupational Therapy centre. With the generous donations from Mr Tam Wing Fan and his family, the Centre provides comprehensive services to individuals across the lifespan, including those with neurological, musculoskeletal, paediatric, and mental health conditions. Apart from clinical services, the Centre serves as a training platform for occupational therapy students, fostering the integration of theoretical knowledge with practical clinical experience. Furthermore, the Centre functions as a a vital conduit for translating our Department's latest research findings into practical applications, thereby continuously improving the quality of professional services and contributing to the community.
