Proud to share this message from the British Dietetic Association for 💛♾️
Autistic people can experience significant health inequalities and poorer health outcomes, including increased risk of nutrition‑related conditions. Many of these challenges are preventable, and dietitians play an important role in providing inclusive, individualised nutrition support.
Over the past 6 years at Love 21 I’ve seen how meaningful the right support can be. I hope we can continue building more inclusive and sustainable care for autistic people and their families 🌱

Autistic Pride Day is led by autistic people to celebrate neurodiversity and challenge outdated narratives.
The BDA Autism Specialist Sub-Group aims to promote excellence in nutrition and dietetic practice in supporting health and wellbeing in autistic children, young people and adults.
Last year the sub-group released a position statement for the dietetic workforce and wider healthcare professionals, setting out guidance for improving dietetic practice, focused on inclusion and anti-discrimination of autistic people.
