The Professional and General Affairs Committee (PGAC) is pleased to announce Celebrate the College’s 35th Anniversary with our first curtain-raiser event! This afternoon session is designed to facilitate engagement among our Fellows, Members, and Associates (F/M/A) through sport and networking.

Date: 2nd May 2026 (Saturday)
Time: 14:00 – 17:00
Venue: Asia Aces Pickleball Academy, Wong Chuk Hang
Fee: Free of charge (a fully refundable deposit applies)
Includes: Coaching, equipment, and non-alcoholic free-flowing drinks.
Note: Beginners of all seniority levels are highly encouraged to join! Please note that children are excluded from this specific event.

This event is fully funded and supported by the Hong Kong Jockey Club. Principles of Evidence-Based Medicine

Core Domains of Critical Appraisal
- Assessing validity, reliability, and applicability of research findings.
- Identifying bias, confounding, and limitations in paediatric studies.

We are excited to announce that the nomination for the Young Fellows Committee term 2026-2027 is now open. This presents an exceptional opportunity for all eligible fellows, who are within 10 years of obtaining fellowship, to contribute and make a meaningful impact within our esteemed College.

The Young Fellows Committee serves as a vital link between the College and our younger members. We are committed to empower and foster collaborations among the next generation of paediatricians. As committee members, we support College activities and organise various events, including social activities, health promotion and educational talks, aimed at engaging and involving younger fellows and trainees.

* Common Software for Data Analysis: An overview of popular tools used for statistical analysis in pediatric research.
* Methodologies: A discussion of various methodologies that can be employed in pediatric research.
* Presenting Your Data and Results: Tips and best practices for effectively presenting your findings.

This is an interactive session which you can follow us in performing basic statistical analysis using online resources.
