【香港生力義工隊 x 東華三院｜園藝治療攤位及工作坊@Airside 💚】
9月4至6日一連3日，香港生力義工隊協助東華三院舉辦園藝治療攤位及工作坊，將園藝治療嘅力量帶俾更多朋友👐🏻🎍
今次活動特別有意義，我哋用咗早前與舍友一同製作嘅陶瓷劍山作為工具，由舍友親身示範及分享製作過程，義工從旁輔助，讓公眾親手體驗之餘，亦親眼見證舍友嘅能力與才華👍🏻
由東華天台種植、同舍友一齊搓陶泥整劍山，到喺今日同公眾分享成果，義工隊全程見證：
「呢段旅程由泥土開始，以分享作結。見到舍友自信地介紹自己嘅作品，公眾由好奇變欣賞，嗰種感動難以言喻。園藝治療唔止療癒舍友，亦療癒咗我哋每一個人。傷健共融唔再只係口號，而係真實發生緊。」
除咗工作坊，義工仲帶住舍友參觀農莊花園同市集，一齊周圍行吓、玩吓、笑吓，個個都滿載而歸🎁💝
【SMBHK Volunteer Team x TWGHs | Wellness Booth & Workshop @ Airside 💚】
From September 4 to 6, our volunteer team partnered with TWGHs for a 3-day horticultural therapy booth and workshop at Airside, bringing the healing vibes of gardening to everyone 👐🏻🎍
What made this event especially meaningful is that we used the ceramic kenzans that we made earlier with the TWGHs JCRC residents. Residents took the lead in demonstrating and sharing how they were made, with our volunteers supporting them along the way. It was awesome to see the public not only try it out themselves, but also withness firsthand the skills and talents of the residents 👍🏻
From farming up on the TWGHs rooftop, to shaping clay with residents, and finally sharing the results with the public today – our volunteer team was there every step of the way:
"This journey started with soil and ended with sharing. Seeing the residents confidently introduce their work, and watching the public go from curiosity to genuine impressed – it was deeply moving. Horticultural therapy heals not just the residents but every one of us too. Inclusion is not just a concept – we’re making it real"
Beyond the workshop, our volunteers also hung out with the residents to visit the farm garden and Well Market. Lots of walking, exploring, and endless laughing—everyone went home with a happy heart🎁💝
