【What can lived experiences truly change?】 🌿
This World Mental Health Day, the theme is “Lived Experiences Heard: Real Voices, Real Change.” 🎙️
In honor of World Mental Health Day, we interviewed 2 Peer Support Workers with recovery experiences* to listen to their journeys and learn how they bring their lived experiences into their services and the community. 🤝
💬 “Touching hearts with authentic experiences creates deep human connections and reduces feelings of loneliness and isolation.” 💚
💬 “I can use my lived experience as an example to show others facing mental health challenges that recovery is possible. Even within limitations, we can still choose to live the life we truly want.” 🌱
We hope to help more people see the profound insights and value embedded in mental health journeys and recovery experiences. 💡
Understanding is where change begins. ✨
