We are a medical charity that sends surgical teams to underserved nations around the world to deliver surgeries and change lives. By fixing disabling and chronic conditions, GSE helps get people back to work and family responsibilities. In doing so, we make a more significant impact on global poverty.

🎉 Day 1 in the OR: Complete! 🎉

Our team is off to an incredible start in Honduras! 🇭🇳 On our first day in the operating rooms, the Global Surgical Expedition team completed 11 procedures across urology, urogynecology, and ophthalmology.

Each procedure is an opportunity to improve someone's quality of life and bring specialized surgical care to patients who might otherwise have limited access.

We're proud of what our team has accomplished on day one, and we're just getting started! ❤️

Our October mission to Honduras is underway! 🇭🇳

Our largest team ever recently toured the Holy Family Surgery Center and completed orientation as we prepared for an incredible week of collaboration with our partners at One World Surgery.

Together, we’re utilizing all three operating rooms to provide urology, urogynecology, and ophthalmology care to patients who might otherwise have limited access to these life-changing procedures.

We’re grateful to work alongside the dedicated team at One World Surgery and the Holy Family Surgery Center to expand access to specialized surgical care and improve quality of life for patients in Honduras. ❤️

Pregnancy and childbirth can bring major changes to the body, and recovery doesn't end when the baby arrives. Physical therapy can help address pelvic pain, incontinence, muscle weakness, and other challenges that can occur after childbirth. 🤱

Global Surgical Expedition’s Pelvic Floor Therapy Program is helping expand access to this specialized care in Belize and beyond by training local professionals. By building skills within local communities, GSE is helping make postpartum support more accessible for women who may otherwise have limited options. 🩷

Your PACU skills can travel far beyond your hospital. Global Surgical Expedition is recruiting experienced Phase I and Phase II PACU nurses for our January surgical mission to Honduras, in partnership with One World Surgery. ✈️

This multidisciplinary team will provide urology, urogynecology, and ophthalmology care, including procedures for pelvic organ prolapse, kidney stone complications, and cataracts.

As a PACU nurse, you’ll help patients safely recover after surgery while providing comfort and reassurance during a vulnerable moment. 💙 You’ll also work alongside an incredible team and see firsthand what your skills can make possible when access to surgical care is limited. 🏥
