One of the perks of being a homeopath is that our skills can be used anywhere around the world - I’m doing so now volunteering for Homéopathes de Terre Sans Frontières (HTSF) in Honduras... my second time even.
HTSF’s mission goes beyond going into communities for a couple of days, seeing patients, prescribing and then moving on. Our goal is to set up permanent dispensaries in communities, train community leaders in how to use specially concocted HTSF complexes to treat the local population and teaching them about prevention. This way the communities gain autonomy and are able to have continuous health care long after we are gone. The reality for many Hondurans is that medications are inaccessible and too expensive. So even if they are able to get a prescription for a month, they are left with no medication after 30 days because they have no means to refill... the result is their conditions go untreated, and their health doesn’t improve.
So we focus on long-lasting treatments using the complexes (cause they are easy to use) aimed to treat in a 3-prong approach —> boost the immune system, drain the key organs, and remineralization. The results have been amazing.
Back home I always prescribe the best remedy for my patients but often use HTSF complexes and this 3-prong approach to help support my patients in their healing process. I’m even doing my own drain during this mission and feel my energy getting stronger and stronger every day.
