Back to the 19th century... 🕊
Warsaw was the place where Frédéric Chopin has lived between 1810 and 1830. He has left the country in sorrow, ever wanted to come back again... until the end of his life outside Poland, in France. Although his body was buried in Paris he wanted his heart to be buried in his birth country - Poland. Thanks to his sister this was done and now the heart of the great composer is buried in a monument just inside of the Holy Cross Church in Warsaw. Nearby are the places where he used to live during the first 20 years of his life, the Frédéric Chopin Museum (now closed for renovation till the end of the year) and the musical University taken his name. Chopin had been suffering from severe illness, but this did not obstruct his great music. Even on the contrary - the more suffering, the greater music...ultimately touching the souls, connecting us to the divine spiritual oneness..this divine realm connecting all of us in one whole. That is why his contribution to humanity will never be forgotten. With deep respect to his strong personality and his music, I could say that he was one of the so called "natural yogis" (like many other artists in various spheres) and his music was his spiritual practice (sadhana) 🕊 💚 🙏
