A week in Nicaragua 🇳🇮 💙
A week of laughing constantly, playing in the ocean, and meeting the most extraordinary people. Every time I say “nothing can top this retreat,” I prove myself wrong.
El Transito is a town made exclusively of locals and wanders- people from all over the world that come to this magical, completely off the beaten path community to live and work as they reinvent and realign. It could not have been more perfect ☀️
Everyday I surfed or swam in the ocean. Every evening I walked on the beach as the sun went down. And each morning I woke to the sound of the waves at . Time and time again, the ocean shows me how much it heals 🌊
After 2 years of nonstop work, , , and I took our first ever trip together. That alone made this beyond special- a reward for the stress, uncomfortable growth, and sleepless nights.
Along with daily outdoor yoga, we hiked and boarded down a volcano (so terrifying 😅 but so glad I did it), made jewelry with a group of local women entrepreneurs , learned how to make traditional tamales from another local, visited the hostel next door to talk to bartenders from around the world, explored the art city of Leon, had an incredibly vulnerable fire ceremony, immersed ourselves in meditation and sound healing with the amazing , and got tattoos to commemorate the week from a fellow wanderer .pigments
I worked so hard to build this business, but it wouldn’t exist without the trust and bravery of the people that sign up. For them, I am eternally grateful 🙏🏻 Until next time 💙
