For months, I had little energy or motivation to do anything. Then one day, I made a decision: if I couldn’t change my circumstances just yet, I could at least create something. So I did.

Synopsis:
Snoopy Taylor, a naïve yet well-intentioned young drag queen from the deep South, arrives in Bangkok on a mission to claim a long-lost inheritance from a mysterious aunt she never met. Dressed in her best Sunday lace and armed with nothing but charm, a suitcase full of dollar-store wigs, and a lifetime of pageant training, she expects a simple legal process. Instead, she is immediately mistaken for Svetlana Orlova, a legendary, large-breasted Russian assassin wanted by both the Thai authorities and a shadowy international crime syndicate. Thrown headfirst into a chaotic world of intrigue, betrayal, and back-alley chases, Snoopy finds herself hunted through the neon-lit streets of Bangkok with no clue why everyone wants her dead—or why people keep referring to her as "The Double D Deathtrap." Unable to speak the language, lost in a city that never sleeps, and wearing the absolute wrong shoes for this kind of adventure, she must rely on the only community that understands both beauty and survival: Bangkok’s underground network of ladyboys, trans icons, and cabaret legends. Together, they must unravel the mystery of Snoopy’s inheritance, outwit the crime lords who want her dead, and expose the real assassin before it's too late. Along the way, Snoopy learns that strength isn’t about throwing the best shade or having the perfect contour—it’s about standing your ground, finding your voice, and knowing when to hit a man with a sequined clutch full of bricks. "00DD" is a loving tribute to the gritty, low-budget B-films of the 1970s, drenched in neon and packed with outrageous action sequences, melodramatic close-ups, and delightfully over-the-top dialogue. Expect exaggerated fight scenes (in high heels), absurd disguises, campy villains, and a soundtrack dripping in funk, disco, and Thai rock classics. Think Barbarella meets Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, with a splash of The Man with the Golden Gun. The film leans into its chaos with a self-aware wink, but at its heart, it delivers a surprisingly warm story about chosen family, resilience, and staying fabulous even when you're running for your life.
