🌟 What is going on? 🌟
You may have noticed that I’ve been much quieter on social media lately. The truth is: somewhere along the way, everything about it started to feel heavy and wrong.
After long days of tattooing, I no longer had the energy or inspiration to constantly create content, edit videos, keep up with algorithms, hashtags, trends, engagement rules, and the endless pressure to stay visible online.
And at some point I realized something very clearly: I don’t want to work this way anymore.
Social media once felt like a place to share art and connect with people. Now it often feels like a system that rewards speed, noise, constant output, and visibility over authenticity, craftsmanship, and genuine connection.
But tattooing, to me, has never been about chasing algorithms.
It belongs in a calm and safe environment where quality, honesty, trust, and attention matter most. My work is created with care for the person, the details, the atmosphere, and the meaning behind it; not for daily content production.
So I’m choosing to step back from social media and shift my focus back to where it truly belongs:
the studio, the work itself, and the people who wear it.
I will continue tattooing, just less visibly online.
Going forward, I’ll focus more on my website, Google, and direct contact with clients.
For bookings, information, and new work, you can still find me there.
Thank you for all the support over the years 🖤
My social media pages will remain online as a quieter, more passive portfolio.
With love, always,
Black Amatista
