One of our designs from North Bali Flash Day,
inspired by Karang Macan found in North Bali temples.

Suksma Roxy,
all the way from Amed for being part of our North Bali Flash Day šŸ™šŸ¼

02/05/2026

Thank you everyone for the great energy during our North Bali Flash Day.
Great chats, tattoos, good laughs, and knowledge,
we really appreciate it.
This collection grew from a quiet process of studying, drawing, and revisiting references after our journey through North Bali temples and their ornaments.
The day has passed, but the process continues.
Something new is coming soon,
keep an eye.
Suksma.

Salam šŸ™šŸ½

For us, North Bali ornaments have a very unique character.
They are often not symmetrical and don’t always follow a central composition.
The motifs spread naturally across the surface, like growing plants.
Their forms feel open, flowing, and organic, often described by local carvers as having a ā€œwatermelon leafā€ character.

This flash collection is inspired by the unique visual language of North Bali ornaments.
All flashes will be available on 25 April during our North Bali Flash Day.

NEW FLASH, by

Inspired by Senjata Nawa Sanga, the sacred weapons carried by the nine directional deities in Balinese cosmology.

This design is adapted from a Kamasan painting found in one of the classic painting collections at
The composition combines traditional Balinese ornament with a subtle Borneo tribal touch.

This is the first series of the flash set.

BALINESE TATTOO FLASH
This new Tattoo flash by , inspired by the classical Balinese paintings of I Ketut Gede Singaraja.

I Ketut Gede Singaraja was a Balinese painter from the village of Singaraja who was active in the late 19th century (1890).
His works reflect the rich storytelling tradition of classical Balinese painting, filled with mythology, intricate ornamentation, and spiritual symbolism.

These designs are now available.

Some of the latest flash designs from and .

Eka’s new flash is inspired by classic American traditional tattoos, mixed with things he sees around him, with a Balinese twist.

Ade’s flash comes from a recent batik obsession and wood-carving details found around home, translated into tattoo form.

All designs are available.
We still have some open spots until the end of this year and in January.

Showcasing the work of and 'home MADE' invites you to rethink the notion of Bali as the collective home, both for Balinese and outsiders.

As a wordplay, it is a call to Made (the stand-in of the Balinese name) to be aware of the ever-evolving home island. It is also a reference to Ade and Eka's works created in the Sekala studio as our home base, often also rooted in the traditions of the homeland.
