What happen to your body?
Your body will physically, emotionally and hormonally change during pregnancy and postpartum periods. As your baby grows bigger, your tummy and pelvic floor muscle are under strain, the hormone relaxin is making your ligaments more pliable and stretch more than usual.
These change cause pain and dysfunction during prenatal:
- Pain in the spine/ back pain
- Pain in hips, pelvis and lower extremities
- Reduction of lung capacity/ hard to breathe
- Numbness
- Week tummy muscles
- Constipation
- Urinary incontinence
