There was a period in my life where everything looked fine from the outside. I was doing all the right things — the routines, the life hacks, the optimization. And still, some days, it was hard for me to get out of bed and face the day.
It took a while before I understood what was actually happening: I was in burnout. Not the collapse kind. The quiet kind — where you keep functioning, and stop feeling.
That's the part nobody tells you about burnout. It doesn't always look like falling apart. Sometimes it looks like someone who's still doing everything right, and still running on empty.
Breath was the first thing that helped me find my way back — not as a fix, but as a way to finally listen to what my system had been signaling for months.
This Sunday, we will go there together.
We'll look at what burnout actually does to the nervous system — the chronic activation, the eventual shutdown, the disconnect from rest and joy. Then we'll use breath as the most direct way to interrupt that pattern. Not a productivity hack. An act of return.
