how does it feel to move without hurry towards rest?
what sensations arrive while you journey to release?
melt your heart/spine to the earth
discover the journey of release to the ground
pour yourself slowly into the mat
embrace every sensation as you ease to the earth
notice how it feels to release effort from your body
consider each tiny movement a gift as you exit the shape
release the shape with grace and ease
dissolve any effort as you discover the ground
What would you add to the list?
The language we use in yin yoga experiences can change how your students move, feel and explore their inner landscape - the art of guiding over ‘instructing’…
In many cases ‘come out of the shape’ is enough.
Often ‘come to a seat’ or ‘lay down’ is enough.
The further you move into sequencing and guiding longer holds for particular themes - the language becomes a portal.. a journey.
Diving deeper into your teaching journey is what we love to guide - for anyone wishing to advance their skills and experience of Yin Yoga as a teacher or practitioner - we want to hear from you!
