Resilience.
I've been sitting with this one recently.
Not from the perspective of someone who has figured it all out, but from inside a period where so much of my own life is currently being dismantled.
Every time I think about resilience I'm always fascinated by the human capacity to keep choosing life, to keep going, to rise above whatever is being thrown at them.
We lose people.
We lose homes.
We lose identities, certainty, livelihoods, entire versions of ourselves.
We experience war, disaster, grief, oppression, uncertainty and pain.
And somehow…
We keep getting up, and we keep going.
So this is a reflection on resilience, sovereignty, and that persistent part of us that keeps reaching towards tomorrow and gives us the courage to keep going.
If you managed to make it to the end of the video, thank you for staying 🤍
