Justin Bieber just gave Newfoundland a VERY unexpected shoutout. 👀🎶

The Canadian superstar used the iconic Newfoundland folk song “I’se the B’y” as the audio for a recent Instagram post featuring photos with Hailey Bieber and their son, Jack.

And of course, Newfoundlanders immediately noticed. 😂

The traditional song references places like Fogo, Twillingate, Moreton’s Harbour and Bonavista and has been part of Newfoundland culture for generations.

Now it’s casually playing for Justin Bieber’s massive international audience. ❤️

How did “I’se the B’y” end up on Bieber’s playlist?! 😂

Picklefest Canada is making its PEI debut this weekend, bringing an entire festival dedicated to pickles, fermented foods and seriously creative flavours to Charlottetown!

More than 40 vendors are expected, with everything from classic pickles and kimchi to kombucha, hot sauce, snacks and even pickle b**r. 🍺🥒

There will also be live music throughout the day!

The Dorchester Jail Bed and Breakfast is located inside a former county jail dating back to 1875, and many of its original features are still there, including jail cells, locks and doors. 🔐👀

Guests can choose from six former jail cells or a more traditional VIP room, and despite the spooky setting, you’ll still get modern comforts.

You don’t have to stay overnight either. The historic jail also offers tours for anyone curious enough to see inside without sleeping in a cell.

And yes, the cell doors stay unlocked while you sleep. 😂

Newfoundland is celebrating the premiere of BELOW with a FREE watch party in St. John’s this week! 🌊🎬

On October 8, Spirit of Newfoundland will screen all six episodes of the new series, with special guests including Mary Walsh, Andy Jones, Joel Thomas Hynes, Larry Barry, Stephen Dunn and Willow Kean.

The night is also raising money for the Town of Trinity Fire Department, with 18 raffle prizes worth more than $7,400 up for grabs. ❤️

The hit horror series FROM is currently filming Season 5 in the province, with production scheduled to continue through November 27, 2026.

And that terrifying little town viewers see on screen? Much of it was actually built in Beaver Bank, Nova Scotia, northwest of Halifax.

FROM has filmed in Nova Scotia since its first season, using local forests, roads and landscapes to create the eerie world surrounding the mysterious town.

The series, starring Harold Perrineau, has developed a huge following since premiering in 2022.

An official premiere date for Season 5 hasn’t been announced yet, but for now, one of TV’s creepiest towns is officially back in action right here in Nova Scotia. 👀

In Canada, you can stream all four released seasons of FROM on Paramount+ Canada⁠.
