Some of the strongest moments of 𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗢𝗣𝗔𝗧 𝗔𝗣𝗔𝗖 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 began on stage, but did not end there.

On Meeting Day in Ninh Bình, the presentations opened conversations that continued long after the lectures.

We would like to express our sincere appreciation to the speakers who shared their knowledge, experience and perspectives with the APAC community:

For our team, it was an important opportunity to listen, learn from their perspectives, and better understand how TRICOPAT is discussed, interpreted and applied in practice.

Ninh Bình is usually remembered for its landscapes, heritage and quiet rhythm of northern Vietnam. For a few days in May, it became something else for us: the meeting point of the TRICOPAT APAC community.

Looking back now, it is difficult to imagine a better setting for this gathering.

From 24 to 26 May 2026, doctors, experts and partners from across the region came to Ninh Bình to be part of the TRICOPAT APAC Meeting 2026. We are deeply grateful to everyone who accepted the invitation, dedicated their time and brought their experience into the room.

Thank you for joining the lectures, taking part in clinical discussions, asking questions, sharing perspectives from daily practice and, above all, for being there in person. These few days reminded us how much happens when people have the chance to meet, speak openly and get to know one another beyond their professional titles.

To the entire TRANFA team, our official distributor in Vietnam Tricopat Vietnam - Công nghệ chăm sóc tóc từ Châu Âu: thank you. The care put into this event was visible from the first welcome to the final moments of the program. Everything felt thoughtfully prepared - professional, warm and strongly connected to the place that hosted us.

We came to Seoul asking whether we would witness the “Awakening the Soul of Hair Science.” And it feels like we just might. 😊

The 14th World Congress for Hair Research is intense in the best possible way.
Thank you for all the meetings and conversations so far. It is a pleasure to discuss medical trichology and hair restoration with experts from around the world - to listen, learn and discover your perspectives.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗶𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝘆 was to investigate the dermoscopic features of thick scalp melanoma with a Breslow thickness of ≥0.8 mm and to determine whether these lesions are always easy to diagnose dermoscopically. The authors compared 30 cases of thick scalp melanoma with a control group of 63 dorsal melanomas matched for thickness, age, and ulceration.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻: thick scalp melanomas often show dermoscopic features typical of head and neck melanomas. Most cases in this study presented either features resembling lentigo maligna melanoma or were positive for the blue-black rule. However, a subset of thick scalp melanomas may mimic non-melanocytic lesions, such as basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, angioma, or seborrheic keratosis, making clinical and dermoscopic diagnosis challenging.
