When we hear "detox", imagine all sorts of unpleasant things: strange herbal concoctions or creepy cleansing enemas. There are many options, but almost always they involve fasting, eating certain foods, avoiding harmful ingredients, and taking dietary supplements.

In fact, detox diets are usually short-term dietary changes aimed at removing toxins from the body. Try to include as many fresh fruits, vegetables and herbs as possible in the menu. Juices, smoothies and salads are the perfect start. Diversify your diet with foods rich in chlorophyll, as well as herbal teas and seaweeds such as nori.

Coriander and foods containing citric and malic acids (grapes, oranges, lemons and other citrus fruits) will help remove heavy metals from the body. Selenium-rich foods like brazil nuts, mushrooms, and sunflower seeds also contribute to this.

Do not forget about healthy sleep. It promotes cell rejuvenation and improves the condition of the heart, muscles and blood vessels. Try to sleep at least 7-8 hours a day.
