TGIF blessings, beloveds.

This was taken four years ago, at Kundalini Yoga Bali Centre at The Mansion Wellness Centre.

I was blessed to be surrounded by these young women, who are all now Kundalini Yoga teachers!

Wellness Wednesday blessings, beloveds.

Kundalini Yoga, known as the "Yoga of Awareness," is a spiritual and physical practice designed to activate dormant Kundalini energy at the base of the spine and guide it upward through the Chakra System.

It combines repetitive poses, specific breathing techniques (pranayama), chanting mantras, and meditation to enhance self-awareness, mental clarity, and vitality.

Unlike physical-centric Yoga styles, Kundalini Yoga focuses more on the energetics and meditative effects of the techniques.

A BLAST FFOM THE PAST!

This was taken tirty-seven years ago, when I was still skinny an dark-skinned from living-working at a UNHCR refugee camp.

Just look at my hair at that time! It doesn't look like that anymore, though. ☺️

But, as always, I was surrounded by books! To this day, mind you! Books to read and books to write on.

Blessings, beloveds.

After a couple of days, I am slowly settling in to life at home and to my books again. Astungkara!

Welcoming me back home was none other than Didi's "Sound Medicine", followed by a light dinner with Yogini Ishani last Saturday.

Sunday was visiting with long time friends Susan and mas Susiawan. Thanks for making us dinner, Sue.

There was a small emergency requiring immediate action yesterday and, today, off I go to the Gianyar Tax Office to file the 2024 income tax. You may remember that I was hospitalized that year and recuperation took me quite a few months. Better late than never, they say.

I am feeling blessed and grateful to have been able to catch up on a few important matters.

More on this huge step later.

Blessings, beloveds.

Day Thirty-Six (04|20) of a 40-day Addiction Recovery retreat, at The Place Retreats in Seminyak. Today's Kriya was accompanied by 22 minutes of "Wahe Guru, Wahe Jio" meditation.

Day Thirty-Seven (04|21) of a 40-day Addiction Recovery retreat. Today, we examined the "strong emotion" carried by the organs: "Liver, Colon & Stomach Kriya", and "Humee Hum Brahm Hum" meditation, reminding us that we are a part of the greater whole.

Day Thirty-Eight (04|21) of a 40-day Addiction Recovery retreat. Today is the D Day, when we practise "Tershula Kriya" (the Thunderbolt of Shiva), raising the Kundalini energy and generating great heat, for 62 minutes! Prior to that, we practise a few short Kriyas. Sat Nam, Wahe Guru!
