I’ve always advocated the farm-to-table approach by growing and consuming local foods as much as possible. Now, I really have a chance to do this myself!

🥬 Its flavors are much fuller and taste better because they are harvested according to season, not force-ripened for profit⁠
🥬 It offers improved nutrition because the produce is more likely to be fresh"

Spirituality has never been about simply caring about ourselves and getting enlightened, it has always been about the greater good.

About giving back.

About serving the community.

We should definitely take time away from social media and the news to gather strength and restore—remembering that taking time out of hearing about the horrific stuff happening but not living them is a big privilege—and then getting back on our horses and continuing to contribute to our communities and serving those around us.

The time to act is now and the fact that it’s hard makes it even more urgent.
