Learn Ayurvedic Cooking with Amrtasiddhi.
🥬 CABBAGE ROLL
One of the nourishing recipes featured in our Ayurvedic Cooking Class, these wholesome cabbage rolls are filled with tofu, fresh vegetables, herbs, and gentle spices.
Our complimentary group cooking class is offered once per week for residential guests, providing a hands-on introduction to Ayurvedic cooking. Private classes are also available for those seeking a more personalized experience.
🌿 Ingredients
4 cabbage leaves
75g crumbled tofu
¼ cup shredded carrots
1 cup chopped spinach
1 tbsp chopped onion
1 tsp grated fresh ginger
1 tbsp cooking oil
1 tsp minced coriander leaves
¼ tsp turmeric powder
½ tsp salt
2 pinches black pepper
Method
1. Blanch the cabbage leaves until softened and set aside.
2. Sauté onion and ginger in oil for 30 seconds.
3. Add tofu and carrots; cook for 2–3 minutes. Stir in spinach and cook for 1 minute.
4. Season with salt, turmeric, black pepper, and coriander leaves. Mix well and remove from heat.
5. Place the filling on a softened cabbage leaf, fold the sides in, and roll tightly.
6. Repeat with the remaining leaves and filling.
Ready to serve.
