Trauma doesn’t always live in the story.
Sometimes it shows up through:
• chest tightness
• gut symptoms
• jaw clenching
• shallow breathing
• hypervigilance
• shutdown or numbness
• people pleasing
• addiction or numbing behaviours
Talking can be incredibly helpful.
But sometimes healing also involves helping the body feel safe again.
Because understanding a pattern and feeling free from it are often two very different things.
