Q: Are Great Lengths 100% human hair extensions suitable for everyone?

A: Hair extensions are a cosmetic procedure and they should be applied to healthy hair. Hair must be at least 5 - 8 cms in length to provide comfortable attachments. There are some medical conditions that may make a minority of clients unsuitable for extensions, which is why Great Lengths certified salons are required to offer a free, no obligation consultation. At this stage the client's suitability can be ascertained and the salon can be confident they can produce a high quality result.

In 1992, Great Lengths Universal developed and patented the first pre-tipped, synthesized keratin bond polymer. Factually, any form of keratin can be combined with any type of polymer to qualify as a "keratin" bond, regardless if it makes any functional difference or benefit in the bond itself. that do not use any toxic chemicals in the de-pigmentation and pigmentation in the process of our hair. The hair undergoes a delicate process of de-pigmentation lasting 15 - 25 days. It may take up to 25 days to get the lightest shade of blonde.

Great Lengths Universal hair is sourced from our representatives in India – specifically the Hindu Temples in India where the traditional religious ceremony “tonsuring” is practiced. Entire families (men, women, children, grandparents) make the pilgrimage to the temple to voluntarily have their heads shaved. This act of thanksgiving typically takes place before or after a momentous, joyful event.

Great Lengths utilizes only “remy” hair which means that the cuticle layers are all facing the same direction from root to end and, therefore, do not tangle. This also ensures that the extensions behave exactly like your own hair, blending in superbly with yours and looking super natural!
