I found when my kids left, the silence wasn't just in the house, it somehow came into me too.

It felt uncomfortable at first, but once I stopped fighting it and stopped trying to fill that silence with busyness and noise, I find something in myself again. I found myself voice and who I am outside of the life I had spent so long in as a mam to small children.

Happy Tuesday ☀️

Speaking to other holistic therapists and spiritual healers, we’ve noticed the summer has been quiet this year. To be fair, it’s quiet most years.

It got me thinking about whether that’s a case of the weather being nicer, people are feeling better in themselves, or is it that summers are busier with holidays, kids off school, activities and get togethers and people are not prioritising their own healing or wellness in the form of treatments?

Other healers/therapists; what’s your take?
And if you usually get treatments or healings but drop back over the summer months I’d love to know if life is just too busy, or are we feeling so good in the sunshine ☀️

Chronic illness, chronic pain and autoimmune conditions; a look into the tools I use, and not just with my clients but on myself. To help support my own symptoms.

Getting into this work meant so much more to me when I could use it on myself. It changed everything being able to minimise some symptoms and manage others. Breathwork, Homeopathy and Intuitive healing all have their part to play in managing my autoimmune condition Sjörgen’s Disease.

• Talk to one person about it
• Share a post about it
• Ask someone with Sjögren’s a question
• Look it up and educate yourself in an element of the disease
