In yoga philosophy, the entire world and our minds are made up of three energies called gunas, which dictate our inner state:

💤 Tamas (Inertia) - laziness, apathy, procrastination, and brain fog.

⚡ Rajas (Passion) - fire, movement, and ambition. In excess, it turns into stress, anxiety, and hustle.

✨ Sattva (Goodness) - the highest state of mind: absolute balance, clarity, focus, serenity, and inner joy. Sattva has no negative side, it is pure harmony.

While we cannot completely eliminate the other two energies, we can learn to manage them.

The ultimate goal is to notice which energy dominates in the present moment, allowing us to consciously overcome laziness (Tamas), reduce stress (Rajas), and bring ourselves back to a state of (Sattva), the ultimate space of peace and awareness.

Regular yoga practice is exactly what helps us master this control, quiet the mind, and restore inner balance. 🧘🤍
