⚠️ Storm Dave Update ⚠️
Heavy rain currently over Connacht and Ulster this morning. This will be followed by more rain from the south west later this morning. Some wintry falls possible in Ulster especially on higher ground.
Winds have increased here in Kerry this morning and this will continue into the afternoon. Strongest in the west and south of the country this afternoon with gusts inland possibly exceeding 90km/h. In coastal areas gusts exceeding 110km/h are possible. Gusts in exposed areas could exceed 120km/h for a time later this afternoon.
The strong winds on some of the models like the arpege and aroms has backed off for the north west which is good news there!
Risk of power outages, trees down and localised flooding, there is a risk of coastal flooding due to onshore winds and spring high tides.
Please take care and fasten down trampolines and garden furniture etc.
Thanks,
Nick
