Everything is energy. Emotions are energy in motion. Emotions are meant to flow.
If at any point they couldn't flow, they stopped. And that's what we call a blocked emotion. There have been and continue to be debates in the therapeutic community about whether such a thing even exists. For me, it's very simple.
Imagine standing in front of your boss, who insults and humiliates you. You feel furious, you feel rebellious, you feel like you'd love to tell him everything you really think. But you know that if you do, you could lose your job. And you're for example a single mom of three. You come home and have to be strong, calm, and present.
What do you do?
You swallow the emotion.
It doesn't go away. It stops.
And there were more moments like that. At work. At home. In childhood. When your mom couldn't handle your anger or your crying. When expressing yourself was punished. When you learn that it's safer to remain silent.
That's when a belief develops.
I can't express myself.
When I speak about my needs, I'm punished.
I'm too much.
I'm not enough.
In a single event, an emotion, a belief, and an unmet need are recorded. And it all get recorded in the body.
Chinese medicine would speak of blockages in the meridians. Ayurveda in the chakras. Total biology about organs and emotional conflict. The name doesn't matter so much. The point is that energy has stopped flowing.
A blockage can develop in childhood, for example, up to the age of seven, when the brain is like a sponge. It can happen in the mother's womb. It can be carried in the family line. It can come from a past life. It can arise when, as a child, you watched a disaster movie and your subconscious decided the world was dangerous.
We often ask why we don't have the energy to live now. Because a huge portion of this energy is stuck in the past.
When you begin to unblock this and begin to change your beliefs to:
I can.
I am enough.
I am worthy of love.
I deserve the best.
Suddenly, more energy appears for action. For choices that are aligned with you. For the life you truly want to create.
This record is in the body and in the subconscious. The good news is that the brain is neuroplastic. It changes. EEG scans in the method I use showed real changes during sessions. New connections are being formed. A new identity is being built.
Just being aware of the problem often brings relief.
But when you build a new identity, your 3D reality begins to change.
If you don't like what you see on the outside, it's a manifestation of what's inside. It's not a judgment, it's information.
"You are not what happened to you.
You are what you do with it."
And that's beautiful. Because it means you can choose differently.
With self-love.
With courage.
With renewed energy in motion.
