From September 2017, New Wave Adventure Therapy will begin offering programmes of adventure therapy in Co. Adventure therapy is a therapeutic intervention grounded in the disciplines of psychotherapy, counselling or social work. Adventure therapy uses outdoor adventure activities and the backdrop of refreshing natural environments to create opportunities to develop new skills and competencies, for self-reflection and therapeutic discussion.
