đ¨ STOP. BEFORE YOU PICK UP AN E-FILE⌠READ THIS.
One of the biggest mistakes I see from beginner nail artists is choosing an online e-file course and believing that learning to use an e-file is as simple as it looks on a screen.
It isnât.
An e-file is a professional tool that requires knowledge, precision, control and hands-on practice.
You need to understand:
⨠which bit to use
⨠how to hold and control your e-file
⨠the correct angle and pressure
⨠how to work safely around the natural nail
⨠how to recognise when something is NOT right
These are things that are much easier to learn when you have an educator physically beside you, watching your technique and correcting you in real time.
â ď¸ The natural nail should never be your practice surface.
Incorrect technique can lead to over-filing and damage â just like you can see in the photo.
And this is exactly why I always say:
DONâT RUSH YOUR EDUCATION.
DONâT SKIP THE BASICS.
DONâT CHOOSE CONVENIENCE OVER CORRECT TECHNIQUE.
If you are serious about becoming a professional nail artist, start with proper, hands-on foundations.
Your first goal shouldnât be speed.
It shouldnât be perfection.
It shouldnât be doing everything as quickly as possible.
Your first goal should be learning how to work safely and correctly.
Because beautiful nails are not just about how they look.
They are about how you achieve them. đ¤
Invest in your education.
Build your skills correctly from the beginning.
And remember â strong foundations create strong nail artists. đ
