💚 ONE WEEK TO GO! 💚

We’re just one week away from the Addisons & Adrenal Support Ireland Inaugural Conference!

Taking place on 10th October at the Clayton Hotel, Cardiff Lane, Dublin, the conference will bring together members of the Addison’s and adrenal insufficiency community for a day of education, research, practical advice and connection.

We’re delighted to be joined by leading healthcare professionals and researchers, including Dr Roxanna Tudor, Prof Conall Dennedy and Prof Jacqueline McCormack, who will share their knowledge and provide updates on important adrenal insufficiency research.

From learning more about sick day rules and communicating with your endocrinologist, to research updates and practical Addisonian crisis injection practice, there will be plenty of opportunities to learn, ask questions and connect with others who understand life with adrenal insufficiency.

🎒 Back to school means more than new notebooks, new teachers, and new timetables! It’s also back to making friends. Asking questions. Discovering differences. And learning how to understand them.

So, what happens when rare diseases become part of the classroom conversation?

We’ve been looking at how schools and rare disease organisations are doing exactly that. Stories. Games. Student-led research. Family conversations. Even school-wide exhibitions. 🌍

Over the next few days, we’ll be sharing a glimpse of what happened when rare disease awareness went back to school…👀

In the meantime, discover our free School Toolkits and find the right resources for your classroom: https://go.eurordis.org/SchoolToolkit
