๐Ÿ’œ Thank You, Leeside CSC ๐Ÿ’š

On behalf of everyone at Aid Cancer Treatment, we would like to extend our sincere thanks to the members of Leeside Celtic Supporters Club for their incredible support.

As part of their 25th Anniversary celebrations, the club hosted the 2026 Association of Irish Celtic Supporters Clubs AGM, along with a fantastic fundraising event at The Friars Walk Tavern featuring live music, a raffle and special guests.

Their efforts raised an outstanding โ‚ฌ2,200 in support of ACT.

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of meeting members of the committee to accept the donation and to present a Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of their generosity and commitment.

Community support like this makes a real difference to the patients and families we serve, and we are truly grateful to everyone who bought tickets, donated prizes, volunteered their time or attended the event.

Congratulations once again to Leeside CSC on celebrating 25 years, and thank you for choosing to support Aid Cancer Treatment.

๐Ÿ’œ Every euro raised helps us continue supporting cancer patients and their families across Ireland.

From Vancouver to Cork ๐Ÿ’œ

Earlier this year, we introduced our supporters to Caoimhe O'Sullivan, a young Cork woman living in Vancouver who committed to running the BMO Vancouver Marathon in memory of her uncle Donal and in support of her mother Dรฉirdre.

Over the months that followed, supporters from Cork, Vancouver and beyond rallied behind her incredible fundraising campaign.

This week, Caoimhe returned home to Cork and formally presented a cheque for โ‚ฌ42,245 to Aid Cancer Treatment at the Glandore Centre in Cork University Hospital

What began as one woman's challenge became an extraordinary show of generosity, compassion and community spirit.

Everyone at ACT would like to sincerely thank Caoimhe, her family, her friends and every person who donated, shared the campaign or helped spread the word.

Andrew Healy is using his own prostate cancer recovery journey to help raise awareness and support others ๐Ÿ’œ
After being diagnosed in September 2025, Andrew completed radiotherapy treatment at the Glandore Centre in CUH and is now encouraging men, particularly those over 50, to prioritise regular PSA blood testing and early detection.
On Sunday April 12th, Andrew hosted a special fundraising awareness event at Bandon Golf Club driving range in support of Aid Cancer Treatment.
We are proud to share that his event and fundraising page has now surpassed โ‚ฌ20,000.

Every donation helps support cancer patients and cancer research initiatives through Aid Cancer Treatment.
