From Vancouver to Cork 💜
Earlier this year, we introduced our supporters to Caoimhe O'Sullivan, a young Cork woman living in Vancouver who committed to running the BMO Vancouver Marathon in memory of her uncle Donal and in support of her mother Déirdre.
Over the months that followed, supporters from Cork, Vancouver and beyond rallied behind her incredible fundraising campaign.
This week, Caoimhe returned home to Cork and formally presented a cheque for €42,245 to Aid Cancer Treatment at the Glandore Centre in Cork University Hospital
What began as one woman's challenge became an extraordinary show of generosity, compassion and community spirit.
Everyone at ACT would like to sincerely thank Caoimhe, her family, her friends and every person who donated, shared the campaign or helped spread the word.
