I’m so excited to be joining the panel with these incredible women at the Children’s Cancer Charity Wellness Brunch in Cork on September 14th 10am-12.30pm.

I’ll be sharing how I’ve swapped striving for thriving and how embracing rest and self-care has changed everything for me. 🌿

It is going to be a gorgeous morning filled with conversation, connection, and community…all while raising awareness and vital funds to support families affected by childhood cancer.

Can’t wait to be part of it!

Graduation 👩🏻‍🎓…Why this is so much more than a piece of paper.

I was so delighted to have received my Certification in Building Workplace Resilience from University College Cork today.

When I applied to study this course in UCC I was thinking it would be another string to my bow, another skill I could help my clients with, but NOTHING prepared me for what I actually gained from the course.

If you asked me did I consider myself to be resilient , without hesitation I would say YES. Over the past 5 years, in particular in my business I cultivated a never give up attitude and alway push through ethos. A badge I would have worn with pride to be honest.

On commencing this course it become immediately evident to me that, that’s not what resilience actually is.

Now I would say, it’s about creating SPACE. Space for self-awareness, reflection, processing emotions & allowing yourself time to recover and learn from experiences rather than immediately react.

I completed my project on a topic that I’m very passionate about…The Resilient Female Solopreneur: Navigating Challenge & Building Strength.

On completion of the course…I had several profound personal and professional breakthroughs that have changed how I live and how I work.

I’m not going to lie, implementing these changes in my business were scary. I still don’t have it all sorted out. I’m in the messy middle so to speak. I don’t have as after teaching moment, so I can’t share it with you. I’m still happily figuring it out.

But I can share with you that I have given myself the space to listen to what I really want/ don’t want and started taking exquisite care of myself, that’s what Resilience looks like for me today.
