I've just finished reading "Glimmers" by and and it's left me with a simple question:
Have you noticed any glimmers today?
Not the big milestones, not the highlights reel, not the once-in-a-lifetime moments.
The small things. The warmth of sunshine on your skin. The smell of fresh coffee in the morning. Birdsong. A belly laugh!
What I've come to understand is that glimmers aren't something we chase or hold onto. They are brief moments of connection, joy, comfort or wonder that we notice when we have the capacity to receive them.
And sometimes that's the challenge. When we're stressed, overwhelmed, anxious or stuck in survival mode, those moments can be harder to see.
But when we begin to find moments of safety and regulation, the glimmers often start to appear.
I'd love to know... What are your glimmers today?

And if someone comes to mind while you're reading this, tag them or share this post as a gentle reminder to look for their glimmers too.

"A glimmer offers a little embodied moment of connection with yourself and others, and a glimpse of how life can be when we feel safe and trusting. Following glimmers helps us build a life that has meaning and purpose to us, one that feels right on the inside rather than looking right on the outside."
